Friends of the Nyacks
Our Mission
It shall be the purpose of the Friends of the Nyacks to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of all persons visiting, residing, or working in the Hudson River Villages of Upper Nyack, Nyack, and South Nyack. Recognizing the richness of their history, the stateliness of their architecture, the splendor of their physical setting and the unique amalgam of their people, the Friends of the Nyacks shall endeavor, through education and joint action, to stimulate pride in the heritage of these communities, to preserve and accentuate their unmatched physical and cultural assets, and to unleash the creative talents of the people who have chosen to live in these communities.
•Mostly Music Festival - Our 2009 summer concert schedule is now available online. Please note that in order to coordinate with Quadricentennial events, our concerts are on Sundays this year instead of Tuesdays. (added June 24th)
•Hudson River Day - Friends of the Nyacks wishes to thank those who joined us in Memorial Park for Hudson River Day and the volunteers and artists who generously donated their time to make the event possible.
